Are you involved with creative aging in New York?
Join the New York State Creative Aging Leaders Network kickoff event! Learn how to get involved in this exciting, statewide community of practice dedicated to advancing Creative Aging across New York. Teaching artists, program administrators, funders, arts leaders, community partners, and anyone working with older adults in New York are invited to participate.
During this session, we will:
- Share the vision and goals of the Network
- Explain how you can participate and stay connected
- Outline upcoming opportunities for professional development and regular virtual networking gatherings throughout 2026
- Hear from a panel of Creative Aging practitioners from across New York State about the importance of this work and the power of a place-based community of practice
Throughout the year, there will be networking conversations, convenings, and office hours open to anyone working with older adutlts in New York State. Additionally, up to 50 participants will be selected for free Creative Aging Foundations training.
Participating in this nework will help you understand how to engage, collaborate, and strengthen Creative Aging efforts in your region.
Together we will build a vibrant, connected Creative Aging ecosystem across New York State.
