This engaging, introductory seminar provides an overview of the creative aging field—its foundations and its benefits for older adults, organizations, and communities. Participants will explore how creative aging supports health and well-being, strengthens social connection, and helps build more livable, age-friendly communities.
This session is ideal for arts professionals, aging services providers, library workers, age-friendly leaders, funders, and anyone interested in better serving older adults—or expanding older adults as an important audience and community.
Format: 45-minute interactive presentation + 15-minute Q&A session
