Heather Ikemire is executive director of Lifetime Arts, a national training and advocacy nonprofit transforming the way our society understands and experiences aging through the arts. A longtime advocate for the arts as a tool for connection and well-being, she began her work in creative aging in 2007 and helped launch Creativity Matters: The Arts and Aging Toolkit during her tenure at the National Guild for Community Arts Education.
